Rio Del Mar Beach:
Rio Del Mar Beach is a wide 2-mile strech of 7-miles of white sandy beach at the foot of the Sandstone Cliffs. It is a great place for family activities; picnics, frisbee and sunbathing, as well as swimming and fishing. Day parking is available and dogs are allowed on a leash. There are bonfire rings and barbecue/picnic areas. This popular summer beach is home to the Cement Ship, USS Palo Alto and Santa Cruz Wharf.
