Summary of Bucks Beach Bungalow. Pleasure Point is perfectly named and is the location of the cozy Bucks Beach Bungalow in Santa Cruz, CA. We still have several good days for stays during September 2015. The rest of the Fall months have great availability and are awesome with wonderful weather, great surf and less crowds! Take advantage of it now. The Bungalow is located less than a block to the 1st of 3 beaches at Pleasure Point with spectacular views of Monterey Bay, Marine wildlife, and World Premier Surfing.
The Bungalow is pet-Friendly with a doggy door (for dogs under 80lb) to access the fully fenced in backyard! Larger dogs are welcome too. The front deck is also fenced-in so you and your favorite 4-footed friends can hang out together in the several redwood chairs & tables under the new umbrella. There are several nearby dog parks - the closest being the “Dirt Farm” at the corner of 38th and East Cliff. This is right next to the ocean so the views are spectacular while your dog gets to exercise with the other friendly “pups of the point.”
This street is very quiet as it does not directly connect to the main through street (Portola) so most people walk down the middle on their way to the beach and they enjoy the flowers of the Bungalow and other cottages of the Point.
We often have extreme high and low tides during the Fall and Winter seasons that make for very exciting ocean viewing and tide-pooling at the beach.
The summer books solid every year - so book now while still possible. It is wise to book the summer of 2016 and 2017 weeks NOW! And get the best weeks for you secured, as we do book that far ahead – YES, with the current rates, though they will be going up soon!
